New work! The last few weeks (before we went out of town) I was crazy busy making some new things and I’m excited to share them with you! First up are some new pennants!
Who doesn’t love a little Whiskey! and he’s joined on the pennant by an adorable jug of dancing whiskey! I’m also excited to share a custom pennant I created for Reform School in Silverlake. They are now carrying my pennants and they had an awesome pop up event at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs over Labor Day weekend. They wanted to celebrate their love of Palm Springs and since I love Palm Springs as well I was happy to put together a new pennant for the pop up. All of these are available in my shop now! and I finally added the California Gold pennant to my store!
I also made Reform School some sweet hand tooled leather keychains. We worked together to choose the designs based on some previous leather projects and they turned out super great! I have a few extra that I’ll be offering at my own shows and I bet they still have a few in the shop. Go by Reform School and check out all of the awesome things they have been working on for the pop up!
Here’s some shots of the new pennant at the Reform School pop-up as well as the key chains. I pinched these pics from Charlie Wright of Minor Thread (thanks lady!) who happened to be in Palm Springs that weekend and from the Reform School feed on Instagram on the right. Check out both to follow along on their journeys! I was super bummed to miss out on the Pop Up but thankfully here are a few pics to see how it all turned out!
Here’s some close ups of the key chains. It was super fun to make these, I love working with leather and creating little stories with the stamps and designs! The triangles have a big eye with a radiant gold halo surrounded by symbols of the mountains, an eagle and the moon above.
The longer snap keychains have smaller eyes with gold lashes as well as eagles, mountains and the moons. The snap ones work pretty great for wrapping around your wrist so you don’t loose your keys in your bag or for wearing on a belt!
Just a reminder to come to Eastside Handmade this Saturday! Saturday September 13th from 11am-5pm. I’ll be there with all of these new things!
