Los Angeles is full of small towns and wonderful local community events. One of the things I really enjoy about living here is that even as you’re living in this great big metropolis you can still feel like you a part of a small town or local community. My husband and I live in the foothills of the Los Angeles forest. It’s a great part of LA, just hidden up and away from downtown with easy walking to hikes in the mountains and families who have lived here for generations but not so far we can’t pop into town for what ever we might need.
Walking just up the street from our house reveals views and vistas out over the rolling mountains.
Next Saturday March 22nd, our local community arts center is hosting it’s annual Art Fair. The fair will feature live entertainment and local artists selling their work from 11am-3pm. I’ll be there with my new prints as well as some new projects I’ve been working on that I’ll be sharing with you soon.

I’ve been ordering new supplies to print on and experimenting with new techniques and products a lot this spring. Here’s a sneak peek of some wonderful industrial wool felt I’ve been working with. Very exciting!
