So much happening, I have 3 upcoming shows for the holidays to share with you! I know it’s still October but these shows are right around the corner and I wanted to give you all a heads up so you can plan your holiday shopping and fun.
First up, I’ll be participating in a local art show titled “Positively Local 91040 & 91042”. It’s a showing of art work from artists that live and create in my immediate neighborhood up here in Tujunga! It will take place from November 9th-November 16th with an opening reception on November 9th from 5pm-8pm at Modest Fly Art Studio Galley here is Tujunga. I’ll be showing my recent Joshua Tree print at this show as well as some smaller works you can pick up from the print bins. I’m happy that there are so many artists living and making art work in my neck of the woods. Tujunga is a long time artists community in Los Angeles with many studios and creative folks peppering it’s mountain hills.

The second show is a few weeks later. On Sunday December 1st (that’s the Sunday of Turkey Weekend!) I’ll be vending at Patchwork Santa Ana. This is my very first time to vend at the Santa Ana show and I’m quite excited. I love the folks who put on the Patchwork shows (they also put on Craftcation!) and I’m happy the timing finally worked out for me to be able to participate in this show. It’s FREEEEEE to attend and they have a wonderful selection of over 100 vendors! You can totally stock up on all your holiday gifts. They’ll also have food trucks, photo booths and diy stations to get your craft on. Seriously, it’s a fun time!
December 1st 11am-5pm
125 N Broadway, Santa Ana 92701
Finally, last but not at all the least! On Saturday December 7th I’ll be vending again this year at our local McGroarty Arts Center’s Holiday Boutique! This is a small but super amazing show that takes place in my neighborhood. Oh man, I love so much about this lovely show. First up, it’s a fundraiser for our local arts center- a portion of the profits goes directly back into the local arts. Second, to raise even more money they have a chili bowl sale. Their ceramics department spend months making and glazing hundreds of ceramic bowls and volunteers make big crock pots of chili. For $10 you pick out a handmade bowl, get a big scoop of chili and toppings. You get to keep the bowl! There’s also a wonderful selection of other ceramics, a bake sale, other great vendors selling art and handmade things. There’s music and a honey vendor who sells fantastic honey made here in the mountains! I can’t wait!
