Making: brand new prints!

I’ve been hard at work this week making some new things for Eastside Handmade this Saturday! Oh sure I had plenty of great things already, but what’s the fun in that? You guys deserve something shiny and new! Something to get excited about! I know I’m excited and I’ve have been having a blast putting together some new prints, mini prints and badges!

We Have a Strategic Plan, Since cut down to 5×7 mini prints.

Los Angeles, I’m Yours. 5×7 inch mini print on chipboard, white ink with oil slick metallic

And this beauty! 16×20 4 layer silkscreen with metallic silver moon, edition of 24. The picture below captures the detail of the background white on white layer and the way the metallic picked it up. I am so stoked with the way this turned out. I had such a great time taking pictures out in Joshua Tree a few months ago and it’s always fun to use them in a screen print. I love the fade from brown to green and then bright yellow white on the tips of the blossoms of the tree. Each one is slightly different due to the printing process and that’s the fun part.
Eastside handmade is this Saturday from 3pm-10pm at 5215 York Blvd, Los Angeles 90029. Check out my previous post on other great things to do in the neighborhood! Hope to see you there!

Oh, and all 3 new prints are up for sale in my Etsy store!
