Making: Rubylith

It’s been a busy week since getting back into town from Craftcation! I’ve been getting back into the swing of projects in progress as well as tackling some great new things! Pretty much every day has been crammed full of exciting conversations, huge forward momentum and great plotting for future progress

I also ordered a tube of Rubylith last week so I’ve been working on cutting some new film positives for the new series of prints I’m working on. I haven’t cut ruby in um…lets just say years and call it at that. It’s a bit tricky to get it perfect but I think I’m getting the hang of it. It’s pretty fun to think about the image in this slightly different way…it’s a bit more oriented towards the drawing process. I think it will result in a different look to parts of my prints which is exciting! Can’t wait to actually get printing with them.
