Making: A few leather bits

I made this purse a few months ago and totally love it. I made one to give to a good friend as well so I couldn’t post about it at the time and then I promptly forgot. I spent some time tinkering with a paper pattern to get it to be the right size to fit my wallet, phone, lipstick and keys and it does just that. It’s the perfect tiny clutch for just grabbing a few things for an evening run for ice cream or dinner. I also got some weird pearlesent leather recently to make another one with silver hardware, can’t wait to do that! I love how simple it is and it really feels great slipped under the arm or in my hand.

I really love the evil eye trend I keep seeing around the internet on jewelry so I made my own bracelet with my leather tools. I was able to make it in a super tiny size to fit my right hand and used some steel wire for the clasp. Of course,  I added arrows pointing towards the eye.
