Making: Printing on metal

A few weeks ago my work was featured in a wonderful blog post all about faux bois!

Thanks Project Nursery for including my log screen print with so many other fantastic pieces.

This past weekend I worked mostly in the studio on some screen prints but also on some sewing projects. Here’s a sneak peek of a screen print I’m working on printed on metal.

The way the inks sit on the surface with the metal shining out from behind is totally great. I worked on some other prints as well, more on those when they are done. Screen printing when it’s raining is a bit tricky as everything takes twice as long (if not longer) to dry.
